Katie’s K9s is the BEST place to send your dog. I find such comfort in knowing that my fur baby mason is just apart of the family as her own dog. She sends updates throughout the day and pictures and videos so frequently it feels like you’re there with her and the dogs! My dog is always excited to go when we mention her name and we are always excited to take him. He comes home EXHAUSTED from such a fun time away from home. Katie’s is really his home away from home. 💖

I was a first time pup owner when Katie was recommended to me. I was extremely nervous about sending my dog anywhere that wasn’t with a family member. Katie came to do a meet and greet and Remi (my pup) fell in love with her instantly. She never judged me for the thousands of questions I ask and always sends me more than enough pictures of my handsome playing with all of his friends. Any time we pull up to her house Remi knows exactly where he is and his little butt starts wiggling a mile a minute. We have been coming to Katie for almost 2 years and I will never take Remi anywhere else. She is 100% the only person (besides my family) I trust with him. She cares for each dog as if they’re her own and spends so much time loving on them and even making them homemade treats 😊.

My husband and I are so grateful for Katie. She takes of care of our lab Grace and our older senior frenchie, Beazley. The amount of individual love and care she gives them is immeasurable. She goes above and beyond to make sure each of their unique needs is met. I think both our babies forget about us completely while they are with Katie, and having a blast with all the other pups. The frequent updates and photos throughout the day put us at ease and reassure us how much fun they are having. She is a dog whisperer, sitter and photographer all in one. Her communication before a visit, during and after are incredible. It is a true blessing to have someone who treats our dogs like their own, and makes us look forward to the next visit.

Kate is by far the best dog sitter I’ve ever had! She has watched my miniature dachshund since he was a very small puppy countless times. At first I was a little concerned that he would be too close to other big dogs but Kate paid very close attention to him to make sure he was safe and comfortable. She is very thorough with sending detailed updates and pictures which I love! Sometimes I think that my dog likes being there more than at my house 😂 all kidding aside I cannot recommend Kates dog watching service enough, she is best in class and very personable!

Kate is honestly the best person to leave your dog with. She has been watching my lab, Ollie, for me for a few years now. He has so much fun with her he doesn’t even want to go home with me most of the time! I have left him with her for a months time and every single day I would get videos and picture updates on how well he’s doing! He gets so much love from her while he is there and I truly wouldn’t want to leave my dog with anyone else ❤️

We are so thankful to have found The Katie’s K9 Daycare, it has truly exceeded all our expectations! Our dog Piper has stayed many times and genuinely acts excited to go, it wasn't easy leaving our girl but we were thrilled to see how much fun she had with all of her friends and we were comforted knowing she was in the absolute best care. We loved getting text updates and looked forward to all the pics. Katie has also been a life saver for when we have long work days, Piper is able to have a blast with all the other pups and get lots of exercise in, she always comes home very sleepy. Katie is awesome, you can see how passionate and caring she is with all the pups. We would highly recommend Katie to anyone.

I am one of those dog owners who views my dog as my child, and given that I work from home 4 days a week, finding the perfect people and place to watch my boy when I have to go into the office was a bit scary. We were taking him to a larger doggy-daycare facility before finding Katie’s K9s and he kept getting sick. We knew he wasn’t getting the attention and care he deserves.

Not only did our boy stop getting sick once we started taking him to Kate, but he now LOVES going. He usually never goes willingly with anybody other than myself or my partner, but he practically jumps into Kate’s arms. She sends me pictures and video updates ALL day long and always lets me know any funny stories of the shenanigans he and his pup pals got into during the day. She’s ALWAYS going above and beyond for all of the dogs in her care.

I am SO beyond thankful that we found her and I know that when I leave my dog at Katie’s K9s, he’s not only in safe and capable hands, but hands that love him like we do! I cannot recommend them enough!

I have taken my dogs to other doggie camps/boarding, and there is nothing compared to Kates. Kate is so passionate about all animals, I can see that everytime I drop my baby off to her. Xaria loves going to play, she gets SO excited!! She has so much fun and gets a ton of love and attention! I appreciate all the updates while she is there and I know my baby is safe and well cared for. ❤️

Katie has been SO great with our 15 week old puppy Ash! She has been a life saver watching him when I work 12 hour shifts. It always makes me feel so great to drop him off and see how excited he is to go to her! We pull up to her house and he’s so excited! She is so great and I can tell she genuinely loves to watch Ash. I love that he’s never locked up and always around her and other dogs the whole day! She sends me pictures throughout the day which I absolutely love! He always looks so happy and I always feel like he’s taken care of! I HIGHLY recommend sending your doggo to her!!

Katie has been amazing with my high energy German Shepherd, she is the only person I trust most to watch him. She actually lets him play and run out all his energy after he had been told he was too much and kenneled frequently at his other daycare. Tucker has attended her daycare and I have boarded him there for a weekend and I have always been impressed. He is always happy to go and tired when he comes home from having so much fun. She is incredibly sweet and loves on every dog. She also sends pictures all the time and updates me which puts my mind at ease.

Petty loves it at Katie’s! She goes to daycare and has also stayed overnight. She is always SO tired and happy when I pick her up!

Katie sends multiple pictures/videos throughout the day. Makes drop offs/pick ups quick and easy! She goes above and beyond for the dogs she watches.

Kate does a fantastic job with our two dogs Adela and Midna, they’re both tired out every time we get home from all the fun they have with the other dogs! We get plenty of cute pictures and videos of our girls and the other dogs receiving care. It can be hit or miss with some of the sitters out there but we feel confident they’ll be happy and well cared for with Kate!

Best place to take my dog Duncan in Grand Rapids. They do an amazing job giving updates and treating the dogs like their own. Always very easy going and very flexible with pick up and drop off times. Highly recommend.

I don’t think I can put into words how much I love Katie’s K9s but these pictures of Wanda surely help do justice. Kate offers one of the best services that can be offered for your pet. Being able to travel and work without having to worry about what my pup might be up to is such a wonderful feeling. I know my dog is being taken care of just as well (or probably better) Then she does at home! Wanda comes home completely exhausted every day that she goes to Katie’s completely exhausted from all of the play! I can’t say enough good things!

1 year ago I decided we needed to find a place for Kobe to get stimulation and play while we worked. I interviewed Kate Pounders of Katie's k9s and liked her immediately. But I was still an overly cautious dog mom and worried about how it would go. Little did I know, Kobe would find his best friends, more favorite humans, and get to live the time of his puppy life! Every time he goes he gets to go on adventures, walks, field trips, and play with an adorable group of pups. Kate and Kyle are incredibly dedicated and so vital to our family! If anyone is in need of doggy daycare or boarding I recommend them 100%!

Kate truly went above and beyond for our sweet Teddy. She was able to accommodate us on very short notice. She updated us often, provided Teddy with tons of socialization and activity, and treated him like he was her own. It was very comforting knowing our puppy was well taken care of with Katie. My little Toby got treated so well at Kate’s. I had back surgery and needed a longer term place for Toby and Kate was able to take him for 3 weeks. Every day I got pics and frequent videos. She was so kind as to deliver him back to me as I couldn’t drive, did a run for me for more food and took him back and forth to the groomers. She definitely adores dogs. Don’t hesitate to use Katie’s K-9’s for your dog.

Kate was wonderful with our 3 dogs. One has diabetes and needs insulin shots after eating. Kate was comfortable doing this. We would use Kate again!

I hesitate to write this review because I don't want share her lolll. I am so so glad that I've found Kate because she is simply amazing. She is very flexible with drop off/pick up times and even took Winston to the vet for followup bloodwork every day. She kept me posted throughout the day with cute photos and updates. She took him along for adventures every day and he even got a treat in the drive thru at Tim Horton's! She loves him like he's one of her beloved pets. I can't wait to use her again in the future!

Kate was amazing with our husky Nova! she was incredibly knowledgeable about her breed and her behavior and she sent many photos and videos throughout the day. Nova was exhausted from all the play and slept great that night! we are so exited to find a dog sitter like Kate!

Absolutely amazing sitter. I had a terrible experience with a previous sitter and she took yeti in last minute and was wonderful. She took AMAZING care of him and went above and beyond with him. I've never seen him so relaxed at a sitter and she really brought out the good in him. Shes got loads of experience in the animal field I 100% reccomend her. She even gave him a bath and lots of bones to chew on! I was so happy seeing him in such great hands.

I have used Kate multiple times. She is the only sitter I trust with my 3 month old puppy. She knows how to interact, care for, and most importantly love on my dog. She sends me updates as well pictures so I know my pup has ate, played, and even when he goes potty. Her experience is something I have yet to find with anyone else which I find very important. Beyond just being a good sitter she is a good human, she put my trash can and recycling bins back in my garage for me while she visited, which went above and beyond her duties to just watch my pup. Kate was absolutely great! She definitely went above and beyond. She kept my dog for my two week vacation, and I don’t think Pearl (my dog) was ever left unattended or in her kennel. Kate took Pearl on multiple walks a day, and on many of her errands. She kept me update with comments and pictures throughout the two weeks. She even bought medicine for Pearl’s achy back legs! (With my permission. And I offered to reimburse her, but she did all the research.) I will definitely be using her again!

Kate was fantastic! My dog is super anxious whenever I leave, so I’ve left him at a kennel previously to ensure safety, but then he comes back so anxious! He had a blast and returned to me so happy (and tired!!) Kate took him on adventures every day and loved him as well as I could have asked her to! I would recommend her for anybody.

Kate was so great with my puppy! It is evident she loves animals and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to provide everything they need. As a nervous/protective dog mom I was worried about leaving my dog with someone I didn't know very well. I was so thankful to find Kate. My dog was so well taken care of and I was able to enjoy my vacation and not worry that she was miserable in a kennel. Kate walked her, took her to the park, bathed her and even let my dog sleep next to her in bed. I received daily updates and some pictures of my dog's activities for that day.
